The East Bay Boxer Club (EBBC) was founded in 1956, according to charter members Al and Ruth Lee. The AKC confirms our first sanctioned point show was July 23, 1960. This was held at the Solano Fairgrounds in Vallejo, California. The EBBC is a long standing member of the American Boxer Club and is located in Northern California; specifically in the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 50 years of involvement in this wonderful dog breed, we have members whom have been active in Conformation, Agility and Obedience. EBBC puts on two Specialty shows a year; currently held in October. Our October Specialties are held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. These shows are in conjunction with the hugely popular Del Valle Dog Fanciers of Livermore two all-breed shows. EBBC also has an Annual AKC Sanctioned "B" Match which is always fun. Meetings are typically held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (unless scheduled differently) and are conducted at various locations in the Bay Area. Please contact the Corresponding Secretary for any further information and meeting dates. The meeting dates do fluctuate depending on show schedules, holidays and member availability.
