The East Bay Boxer Club (EBBC) was founded in 1956, according to charter members Al and Ruth Lee. The AKC confirms our first sanctioned show was July 23, 1960 This was held at the Solano Fairgrounds in Vallejo, California. The EBBC is a long-standing member of the American Boxer Club and is located in Northern California, specifically in the San Francisco/East Bay area. With over 50 years of involvement in this wonderful breed, we have members who have been active in Conformation, Agility, Obedience, and Herding. EBBC puts on two Specialty shows a year, currently held in October at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. These shows are in conjunction with the hugely popular Harvest Cluster which includes 4 all-breed shows. EBBC also has an Annual AKC Sanction "B" Match, which is always fun.
Meetings are typically held either the 3rd Wednesday of the month or at a local dog show following Boxer judging. Scheduled meeting dates are listed in What's New.
